About the results on this site
Every number on this site comes from a MetaTrader Strategy Tester report, a cTrader backtest, a public MQL5.com page or a demo forward test on Myfxbook, and the conditions are stated next to it: platform, symbol, timeframe, deposit, spread, period and model. A backtest is a simulation. It cannot reproduce live execution, real spread behaviour, slippage, requotes or the psychological decisions a trader makes around a running robot, and it is not a prediction of future results.
About the forward tests on Myfxbook
The live results come from demo accounts connected to Myfxbook read-only, so the figures are taken from the broker's server, and each figure on this site is a snapshot dated where it is shown. A demo account is simulated trading: no money is at risk, fills are not requoted, and spreads and slippage are often better than on a real account. Demo results are therefore hypothetical results in the sense of the CFTC Rule 4.41 text below, and the young records on that page say little about how a robot will behave over months. They are not a prediction of future results.
About prop-firm evaluations
Where I describe software built for a prop-firm evaluation, I describe rule compliance: loss floors, day anchoring, minimum-day and consistency rules. Passing an evaluation additionally requires the market to deliver the profit target inside the firm's conditions, which no software can guarantee. Firms change their rules; check the current rulebook yourself.

Futures trading
Futures, foreign currency and options trading contains substantial risk and is not for every investor. An investor could potentially lose all or more than the initial investment. Risk capital is money that can be lost without jeopardizing one's financial security or lifestyle. Only risk capital should be used for trading and only those with sufficient risk capital should consider trading. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.
Hypothetical performance (CFTC Rule 4.41)
Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown. In fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk in actual trading. For example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect actual trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all of which can adversely affect actual trading results. The dashboard ledgers of the indicators described on this site are hypothetical bookkeeping of the indicators' own signals on the loaded bars and include no commission or slippage.
