Trend Quality Index
A score from 0 to 1 on every bar, from four weighted factors: efficiency ratio, volatility regime, price structure and momentum persistence.
Invite-only TradingView indicatorA standard SuperTrend uses the same band width in a clean trend and in a sideways mess, which is why it whipsaws. Trend Quorum measures trend health on every bar with a Trend Quality Index, tightens its bands when quality is high and widens them when it drops. Signals fire only when enough independent factors vote the same way, like a quorum.

Set a SuperTrend tight and it catches moves early, then flips on every wobble when the market goes quiet. Set it wide and it survives the chop, then gives back half of every trend before it turns.
The setting that works depends on the condition of the market, and that changes through the day. Trend Quorum measures it: how efficient the movement is, what volatility is doing, where price sits in its recent range, and how persistent the momentum is.
Those four measurements become one number, the Trend Quality Index, and the bands follow it smoothly. The active side tightens while the passive side widens, which ratchets the trail behind a strong trend.
The script page on TradingView is public. Read the full description there before you pay.
An adaptive engine first, and optional votes on top of it.
A score from 0 to 1 on every bar, from four weighted factors: efficiency ratio, volatility regime, price structure and momentum persistence.
Quality sets the band width through a configurable power curve, so the change is smooth, not a switch. High quality tightens, low quality widens.
The trail can reverse on a price break, or when quality collapses from high to low. The second route catches a regime change earlier than price alone.
A fast and slow EMA with a filled cloud. When the filter is on, a buy needs price above the cloud and a sell needs it below.
Signals fire only when ADX is above your threshold, 20 by default, which confirms that the market is trending at all.
Trend direction from a higher timeframe by SuperTrend or EMA cross, chosen automatically or by you, read from closed bars only.
Four of four factors is three stars, three of four is two, fewer is one. The rating is printed on the label and the tooltip shows the breakdown.
The stop comes from recent pivot structure plus an ATR buffer. Targets sit at 1R, 2R and 3R by default and change colour when reached.
Signals, trend changes, each target, the stop, and TQI crossing 0.7 or 0.3. Five presets: Auto, Scalping, Default, Swing and Crypto 24/7.
Every picture below is a TradingView capture with numbered notes added. Nothing on the charts is drawn by hand. Click any image to enlarge it.

Look at the trail itself. Where the market was noisy the line sits wide and flat, and small swings do not reach it. Once a clean move begins, the active side tightens and steps along behind price, so less of the move is given back at the end.
The brightness of the line is information too: bright when trend quality is high, faded when it is low.

The trend block shows direction and its age in bars, the TQI with a bar graph, the regime and the volatility state. The confluence block shows each filter and the overall rating in stars. Context gives the session high and low and the nearest support and resistance with distances.
When a trade is open, the trade block shows entry, stop, target status and the unrealised result in points and in R. The TQI detail section breaks the index into its four components, each with its own bar.
Forex, gold, indices, crypto and stocks. The Auto preset picks parameters from the chart timeframe; Scalping suits one to five minutes, Default 15 minutes to four hours, Swing the daily chart and above, and Crypto 24/7 is tuned for crypto volatility.
M5 and above is recommended, on standard candlestick charts.

Buy, sell and any signal, trend change in either direction, each of the three targets and the stop. Two more are unusual: TQI High fires when quality crosses above 0.7, and TQI Low when it falls below 0.3, so you can be told when a market becomes worth watching or stops being so.
Messages carry the ticker, timeframe, price, stop, targets, score, TQI and rating, and a webhook JSON format is available.
Four steps, with signals on closed bars only.
Compute the Trend Quality Index from efficiency ratio, volatility regime, price structure and momentum persistence.
Scale the SuperTrend bands by that score, tightening the active side and widening the passive one.
On a flip, ask each enabled filter: EMA cloud, ADX and the higher timeframe. A signal needs every active filter to agree.
Rate the signal in stars, place the stop from pivots plus ATR, and set targets at 1R, 2R and 3R.

Access is granted by hand from my TradingView account, normally within a few hours and always within 24 hours of your form arriving.
Because access to an invite-only script cannot be handed back, a sale is final once access has been granted. The script page on TradingView is public, so you can read the full description and see it on charts before you pay.
The full terms of sale and the privacy notice for buyers are one page each, in plain language.
Trading carries risk of loss. This is an analysis tool, not financial advice, and no indicator can promise a profit.
No. All signal logic runs on confirmed, closed bars, higher-timeframe data is read without lookahead from confirmed bars, and target and stop detection runs on closed bars only. Like every indicator, values on the bar that is still forming update tick by tick, but no label or alert fires until that bar has closed.
A score from 0 to 1, computed on every bar from four weighted factors: the efficiency ratio, the volatility regime, the position of price within its recent range, and the persistence of momentum. It controls how tight the SuperTrend bands are, and it has its own alerts at 0.7 and 0.3.
Any instrument: forex, gold, indices, crypto and stocks. M5 and above is recommended with the matching preset, and it should be used on standard candlestick charts.
No. Invite-only indicators work on the free plan. The free plan limits how many indicators you can have on one chart and how many alerts you can run, so a paid plan helps if you use many, but it is not required for this one.
I grant access by hand from my TradingView account. It is normally done within a few hours and always within 24 hours of your form arriving, including weekends.
No. It is one payment of 47 USD for lifetime access on one TradingView username, with future updates included.
Once access has been granted the sale is final, because access to an invite-only script cannot be returned. That is why the script page on TradingView is public: read it and look at the charts first. If you paid and access has not been granted yet, email me and I will refund you in full.
Yes. Email me from the address you bought with and I will move the access to your new username.
Yes. A MetaTrader 4 and 5 edition is on the MQL5 Market. It is a separate product listed by that store; this page is the TradingView edition.
No indicator can promise that, and this one does not. It gives you a clear, rule-based reading of the chart and a plan to work from. What you do with that, and how you size positions, decides the outcome.
Each one is invite-only, 47 USD once, and has its own page with charts and a full description.
